BIG NEWS!

The Borshch Cook-off will be hosted on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Doukhobor Discovery Centre!

This year, we will be awarding a cash prize of $500💰💸 to the cook who places FIRST in the judge's voting. Cook's finishing second and third will receive a prize package, while prizes will also be awarded for the People's Choice Award and for the Cook's Choice Award. All participants in the Cook-off will receive a complimentary gift package from the DDC.

Spots are limited to 12, so you want a chance to claim the top prize and take home $500, please enter as soon as possible.

Castlegar Wendys + 99.3 The GOAT - CKQR. The excitement from the community has been truly overwhelming. The Wendy's team are doing everything they can to get your food as quickly as possible, but there's only so much they can do.

Be patient and bear with them. They are here to stay!

The day has finally come! Castlegar Wendys officially opens tomorrow! 🍔🍟🥤

The Goat will be on location tomorrow to celebrate the official grand opening. Sam will be live from 11-1 for lunch, then Bryce from 4-6 for the dinner rush.
