☀️ Good morning & happy fall! 🍂 The season officially arrived yesterday, ( sorry I missed it ) and while we’re still enjoying these gorgeous warm days, I can already feel the shift — softer light, cooler mornings, and the promise of cozy evenings ahead. Its back to the time of year when we’re prepared with a few layers…coats, light jackets, sweaters, cozy hoodies….
Now starts the “ritual of the closets” ! … switching out the summer for fall and winter. Its sad to say goodbye …. But here’s to fresh starts, golden leaves, and all the beauty this season brings.🍁✨

Traveling Beyond the Guidebook in pursuit of a life “Less Ordinary”
What if this really works? That’s exactly what we asked ourselves several months ago when we decided to start a Digital Business. Keith retired at 62... not by choice mind you. After 30 years in Telecommunications, traveling half way across the world for months at a time, he found himself ‘downsized’ . Wow... who was going to hire someone at that age when a younger version will do?? Meanwhile.... I’ve been a full time realtor for over 15 years in the Boom/Bust markets of Alberta where oil and gas run our economy. The last 4 years have really put our finances to the test and our nerves on edge just wondering where the next piece of business would be coming from. We had to ask ourselves the hard questions of ‘alternatives’. I was searching, looking, praying for an opportunity that would be the ‘stop gap’ for the months with no income. ( that can be a bit scary) Some of you will relate with the life of a realtor!
We needed a second stream of income that would ease the pressures when life wasn’t going quite the way we had planned. We also realized we were not getting any younger but we were not ready to stop living because the income stopped. We were not about to give up our lifestyle... we are just getting started!!
Although I was good at my job and could easily maneuver around contracts, we had no clue where to even start with a digital business - but we knew we HAD to be involved in the digital world’s platform. That’s where everything is going these days! We were beyond grateful to have found an opportunity that had honesty, integrity and trust. We were not about to step into anything that we would not be proud of . I always worked from a position of the utmost professionalism and this was to be no different.
This system is 90% done for you, laid out step-by-step with a ‘done-for-you’ blueprint. Since we had NO experience in this digital world... this is exactly what we needed. We have supportive coaches & mentors that share their successes and knowledge and are committed to our success. Wow - how refreshing!!
We now have a business that allows us to work on our schedule. Our business goes where we go... whether that’s to a coffee shop, visiting family or to a beach in Mexico. All we need is an internet connection and a laptop or phone and we’re all set. I’m not tied to the 24/7 of my previous life... but can now spend time doing what we love to do most - travel.
Hey.... we all have a different story right!! Some of it’s good, and some of it well, not so great but the good news is, we can ALL do something about it! We kicked our fears to the curb and embraced this new life.
