Or Water not Coal- NW Calgary- Cochrane and area to find signing locations! Water Not Coal! The short term jobs promised are not worth contaminating all of Albertas Most Precious drinking and irrigation water.
We must think of the future! Peter Lougheed in the 70’s put a Moratorium on our Eastern Slopes recognising that this most valuable ecosystem that is the source for all Albertans. It is slso a prime recreation area, holds one of the largest spawning grounds for the keystone species of CutThroat Trout, is a wildlife corridor and again - our clean drinking water. One need only to pop across the BC Border and see what selenium contamination has done the the water in Elk Valley.
Say NO to foreign oligarch cosl companies and YES to our Clean Headwaters!
