You may look back at something you once desperately wanted to understand and realize that you still don't have every answer.
Perhaps you never learned why someone made the choice they did. Why something ended the way it did. Why a particular experience became part of your story.
And yet, when you look again from where you are now, you may notice something you couldn't see then.
You can see yourself.
You can recognize what you learned, what changed within you, what you no longer accept, what matters more deeply now, or how differently you would meet the same experience today.
Perhaps clarity isn't always found in finally answering “Why did this happen?”
Sometimes it arrives when the question quietly becomes:
“What can I see now that I couldn't see then?”
You don't need every piece of your past to make perfect sense for something meaningful to have emerged from it.
When you look back from who you are today, what can you finally see? ❤️
