What better way to launch the start of Blood Cancer Awareness month than to head to the VG Hospital today for my blood transfusion!
I usually go to work, walk to the hospital, squeeze my two hour treatment into my day, walk back to work, eat poorly while working and then usually stay late to make up for lost time.
Today I am reminded that we only get one go at this and I need to make my health a priority not "squeeze" it in. So today is about eating healthy, hydrating well, getting some movement into my day and resting during treatment (instead of working on my laptop).
And without blood donors, I wouldn't be doing any of this! THANK YOU!! 🧡 ~ Amy
