Rodrigo Roa Duterte saved millions of people including drug addicts.You protected those rights of few people but you disregard the millions of people in the Philippines who has been saved.Drugs in the Philippines before his administration were so rampant,they are selling like pancakes even in those so remote areas.Many were killed especially young children,imagine 1 month old baby got raped,women killed and raped,crimes here and there,robbery/hold up because they need to pay the drugs,seniors citizens beheaded and robbed even those who just sold there crops or received their pensions.There were killings beforehand,killed by big time or small time drug lords because of competition ,cheating or not able to pay their contrabands.It was so complicated society before he came.Corruptions in the government is so fatal.We keep praying to have a president who can control the people.Remember S***m and Gomorrah,it was about yo become.He didn’t even run for president right away,due to people’s calling,he gave it to us.He saved us and the entire country.Don’t be one sided,please hear the majority.Send Him Back..Let him spend his years in his own country,don’t let us fall.Please grant our request 🙏🏽🙏🏽👊🏽💚💚Send him back…send him back..

Never doubt your instincts..

Before I left the Philippines in September 2021, I prayed so hard for Sarah to run for president in the May 2022 elections, believing it would uphold her father’s legacy. But as I followed the developments, I was disappointed—she chose to endorse BBM as her running mate, which catapulted him into the spotlight.

I remember a video call with my Tatay.

Tatay: “Dai, kinsa man imong presidente?”
Me: “Wala, Tay, kay si Sarah ra man akong gusto.”
Tatay: “Dili diay kang BBM? Sikat man dri.”
Me: “Once a Marcos, always a Marcos.”
Tatay: “Bitaw no… sige, wala lang sab ko.”

In the end, BBM won the presidency—ironic, considering he couldn’t even win the vice presidency before. But with Sarah as his running mate, he finally secured victory.

My takeaway? Never doubt your instincts. History has a way of repeating itself.
