I am a 27+ year Canadian Forces Veteran with disabilities from service. I am also a trained human rights paralegal and Human Rights Diversity certified in Nova Scotia. I retired as a Capt (Air Force), served on land, ship (Nipigon) and Air. Was injured on ship and during my UN Peace Keeping tour of duty in 1989 Syria / Isreal, Medvac out due to those injuries. I have fought Veterans Affairs Canad
a (VAC) for pensions , support for my Conditions / disabilities. When being released I decided I needed to educate myself to fight VAC for my own benifits so I took 2 year Paralegal and also 2 year Police Science Diploma course’s , to help me along the way. Well the rest is history since 1997 I have been advocating for Veteran issues and helping veterans directly with their claims to VAC, guiding and educating currently serving and retired veterans. I have started for my own PTSD this page and other pages on video gaming with the hopes of having a few video game excerpts (live) while answering fellow veterans whom follow in on how to start a claim for disabilies the same time enjoying video gaming with like minded veterans and civilians whom care about our veterans. I hope threw this process that it will help at least one veteran then it’s worth it and in do8ng so helps me. I have been decorated for my service , received CAF Wound Stripe for injuries from hostile actions of enemy in Syria, received Memorial Silver Cross, CD with clasp, both Queen Elizabeth II Golden & Diamond Jubilee Medals, UN, 125 Medal, Peace Keeping. Winning your VAC claims is a process and education, if done properly you can win.
