Last week the Ontario Government launched an Anti Tariff Ad Campaign on American TV coverage of the World Series.
President Trump had a melt down over it calling it fake and fraudulent...in fairness it was a 1 minute excerpt of a 5 minute address given by then President Ronald Reagan...
I would admit that it was somewhat selective.. but there is nothing fake about it. Trade talks were cut off in protest of this Ad airing and the Ad was then pulled.
It is my opinion that if Trade Talks weren't canceled over this, then they would be canceled over something else.
There is no fair deal to be had when you are negotiating with someone who does not want an equitable deal. You can't negotiate or reason with narcissistic tendencies... the goal posts will continuously be moved.
Keep supporting Canadian, keep buying local, keep boycotting USA made products. Supporting Canadian and select Foreign Fair trade partners is not just patriotic... it's just good business. Invest in countries who invest in us... that is survival. It's time to bypass the USA and deal with the rest of the world now.
