What a fascinating interview yet again from The Keyboard Chronicles about legendary keyboard maestro Jordan Rudess.

Jordan is indeed insightful, thoughtful, brilliant and yet down to earth all at once. From his thoughts about A.I. in music or as a work companion in various studies. His work with MIT and/or creating apps. Finger exercises and techniques to build strong yet pliable hands for longevity & care. His composition methods when creating music for Dream Theatre, solo work etc. Theres plenty of information and storytelling even for a non musician like myself!

Was invited to take footage of The Rebel Riffs - rock/soul duo gig at RavenWolf Brewing Co. in Spruce Grove tonight. A fantastic duo covering all types of songs plus some unique twists on fan favourites! 😃

My first time here, so I tried the beer flight with:
Sombrero Mexican lager
Riona’s Irish Red
Peach and a mango sour
Cider of the month

Friday Flatbreads are on special so I had the Island Flatbread. Everything was tasty and very fresh. 😃
Shoutout to the amazing staff that let me wander around taking footage of the band 🙌🏻. Check out the brewery website for entertainment and fun events. Thank you to Sean and Linda for your patience and time 💜

I’ve been kinda busy lately 🤪.
Of the 106 videos, 21 are others or already done. Still have to edit the rest.
Of the 1,400 photos maybe half or so ??

I don’t always post about where I am, as sometimes it’s paid or private events that I have wait for permission. Sometimes I’m lucky it’s events where multiple bands are playing. One stop shop 😃

This is why I sometimes go quiet as I have life things to catch up on or just need time for editing!! I’m about 6 weeks behind at this point, so things might take awhile yet before they’re posted. 🤪

Immensely grateful to bands & venues that ask for my support and offer tickets/passes to help me get there. Also grateful for bands and private parties that pay for my photography time. It is my dream to do this full time, get proper training and equipment to leave those steel toed boots behind forever . . .

It’s a lot of work doing all the things I do, but ultimately I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t get some enjoyment and satisfaction from it all. Helping people. Supporting people. Encouraging people. It makes the heart & soul feel good and I appreciate the same from everyone to ME over the years
