When you book a flight just to go to the only Chili's Grill & Bar in Edmonton! 🌶️ (Jk) It’s located inside the airport after security.

Of course I had to get the Triple Dipper which comes with the famous mozzarella sticks, boneless buffalo wings, and southwestern egg rolls.

Pre-game for FOUNDATION? 👀

This is the Shot Yacht from The Canadian Icehouse The Canadian Brewhouse! 🛥️ It’s $290 for 35 dangles (cocktails) + 5 fireball shots. You need to have a minimum of 5 people to order and it’s not available after 1 am.

There’s also a Tot Yacht for $150 which is a yacht of tater tots. 🥔 We were tempted to get it but didn’t want to spend that much on potatoes lol

✨ GIVEAWAY TIME ✨

Dream Tea House is introducing matcha soft serve! 🍵 It’ll be available at their Whyte Ave location starting tomorrow, September 5. I got a sneak peek and can confirm that it’s delicious. It’s not bitter but has the right matcha flavour since it’s made with ceremonial grade matcha. You can get the ice cream on its own or as a parfait.

From September 5 to 7, they’re having a promo on the ice cream — $4.99 for matcha ice cream and $5.99 for a matcha parfait.

They’ve also added some IG worthy drinks to the menu like the Sakura Matcha and Ube Violet Matcha. I enjoyed their Tiramisu Thai Tea.

In celebration of the new ice cream launch and back to school season, we’ve partnered up to giveaway four $50 gift cards to four lucky winners!

There’s a night market happening in Edmonton this weekend! ✨ IgNite Market Canada is taking place from August 28 to 30 near the Booster Juice Recreation Centre (2051 Leger Road) — hours are 4 to 11 pm. My visit was hosted.

The night market has over 40 food vendors including popular food trucks. I had a hard time choosing what to try because there were so many options! Here are my food highlights:

🇯🇵 MSSM Edmonton — toro handrolls (my fave item from their omakase and now you can get it here)
🍔 Yori — hamburg steak from the second Sushi Masaki Saito restaurant, opening in Edmonton this fall
🍣 Tatsu Sushi — giant sushi nigiri + skewers
🥟 Pebre & Co. | Empanadas YEG — beef empanadas
🍵 Meet Your Matcha — mango sticky rice matcha (ignite market exclusive flavour)
🧋 𝐓𝐡é 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 — kung fu milk tea
🥪 Pink Bow Express - creme brûlée sando

Along with all the food, you can shop from local vendors, enjoy live entertainment, and play games to win prizes. They’re also doing live giveaways each day at 6:15 and 9:15 pm. This is the third year they’ve held the market, and I think it’s their best year yet!
