When Tanya's kids were young she couldn't find body care products that suited their dry skin. After making her first batch of homemade soap she fell in love with the process and the results it had for her kids. Since then it's been her mission to create high quality, Canadian made, natural body care products, and with that, Wild Prairie Soap Co was born. This is her story.

5468796 Architecture + Ocheller Homes: A Collaboration // Getting to tell stories is one of my favourite parts of my job, and when somebody believes in what they are doing and lives with passion the stories often end up writing themselves. It is apparent that both the team at Red Brick and 5468796 Architecture both have this passion for what they do and brought it to the table when designing homes for the new Ocheller Housing line in Blatchford. It was incredible to visit 546’s office in the heart of downtown Winnipeg and see the one giant table that their entire team works at. It was also incredible to hear from some of the visionaries and leaders of Canadian architecture and be able to capture their stories.

Behind the Scenes // A few months ago Tegan and I travelled to Winnipeg to capture the story of one of the leading architecture firms in Canada, 5468796 Architecture , and their role in developing RedBrick Real Estate Services new housing line — OchellerHomes. It was great to see how 546 brought their unique designs and inspiration for a “Canadian Home” to the table. For Tegan it was a reminder of why she does what she does and the impact and innovation she has had in the housing market. The full video drops tomorrow but here was a little behind the scenes of our trip.

Ocheller: The Future of Canadian Housing // The City of Edmonton is re-developing the old City Center Airport into what could be one of the largest sustainable communities in the world — Blatchford. As part of this exciting endeavour RedBrick Real Estate Services will be launching their housing line OchellerHomes with the vision to change the way we think about housing.

Homestead Co-Working // Since February I have been creating content for Homestead Coworking. The building itself is an incredible heritage building in the heart of Edmonton with aged brick and lots of natural light. More importantly though, it has been great to be apart of an amazing community, surrounded by other like minded creatives and entrepreneurs. They also have really cool events including — Thursday Think Tanks.
