I painted this for Mother's Day, and was so busy spending time with my family that I forgot to post! I did, however, print & frame it for Mom, which is what really mattered.
Last year, my father was in ICU with covid pneumonia, & when he pulled through I was incredibly grateful. Despite a difficult past, I wanted a for our relationship based on mutual respect & an adult understanding of each other. This year, I realized I wanted the same thing with my mom - long before she ever lands in hospital. Living together after nearly 20 years apart has been challenging, but we grow everyday.
