While my wrists are healing, I thought I'd fill you all in on what's cooking for Lumie Craft. ✨

I'm incredibly excited to share that Lumie Craft will be exhibiting at K-Days 2026 from July 20–23, 11 AM to 10 PM daily!

This is one of those opportunities that felt much bigger than me when I first dreamed about it, so I want to say a heartfelt thank you to for their sponsorship and support. Your belief in small businesses like mine is helping turn what once felt impossible into reality.

From a maternity-leave passion project to showcasing Lumie Craft at one of Edmonton's biggest events...what a journey it's been!

A little life update from me 🤍

For those who follow my posts closely, I’m sure you remember when I mentioned that my wrist had been inflamed sometime ago.

In January, I was diagnosed with tenosynovitis in my right wrist; something quite common with new mums. Unfortunately, the pain remained even after several physiotherapy sessions, and what started in my right hand quickly affected my left as well.

Because of this, my doctors advised that I significantly reduce weight-bearing and repetitive movements with my hands which was impossible moulding with concrete.

Thankfully, January and February were naturally slower months for the business, so stepping back didn’t feel too difficult at the time. But towards the end of April, my maternity leave ended and I returned to my 9–5 job…I’m still figuring out this new phase of life as a mum of 2 especially with one little human who absolutely hates daycare 😂

At the moment, I’m undergoing further treatment since physiotherapy didn’t help as much. I truly hope to get my wrists fully back soon because creating with my hands means so much to me.
