1. When you hatch chicks from someone's eggs, you are NOT the breeder 🫠 The breeder is still who you purchased eggs from.

2. When you purchase Bird One and Bird Two and you hatch eggs from bird one and bird two mingled together - you create your line. Congratulations! You should STILL credit breeders of bird one and bird two as foundation for your line. It's good manners. Without them, your line would not exist.

3. Point 2 also applies to rabbits.

4. Your birds don't think they are better than any other birds. I'm sure, in fact, that they'd love to mingle with other birds and forage for worms. It's people who think they are better than others and more should follow the example of birds. No matter if you bred for 3 years or 30 years, it costs you NOTHING to be nice to everyone else who loves chickens.

5. When you feel like typing something snotty or be a troll on social media, just hug a chicken.
