Sometimes I wonder if my sister looks down from the skies, shakes her head, and says, “Michelle, honestly…”

Today I burned peas because I forgot them on the stove, overflowed the sink, and somehow managed to put on two different Crocs before heading out to tackle farm chores.

Once outside, my chickens were happily clucking, and my dogs were running around enjoying the Sunshine. Chores can be a lot at times but, I can just picture my sister up there rolling her eyes and laughing, because if anyone would appreciate this, it would be her.

Some days you’ve got it all together… and some days you’re wearing mismatched Crocs and flooding the kitchen and cremating the ducks peas.

Today was definitely the second kind of day. But I'm grateful to have everyday I get. I hope Joanne got a good laugh today.
