🌅 Last night’s sunset along the Trestle Trail was pure gold. From the Grand River winding below to the old iron bridge standing tall, this spot always feels like stepping into history.

And if you look closely… you’ll even catch the Wellington County Museum peeking above the treeline.

Sometimes the best views are right in our own backyard. 💛

And just like that, another incredible Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games is in the history books! As the final notes of the pipes fade and the memories settle, I wanted to share a few last highlights from a weekend.

Thank you to everyone who made our 80th anniversary so special—from the dedicated organizers and volunteers to the passionate musicians, dancers, and athletes.

Your spirit and energy brought the 80th celebration in Fergus to life!

We can’t wait to see you all again next year! Slàinte mhath!

Saturday at the 80th Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games was one for the history books! Swipe through for some incredible highlights from an action-packed day.

The heavy events had us on the edge of our seats, including the athlete who bravely turned the seemingly "Unturnable Caber"!

We also got to hang out with the amazing Charles Vandervaart from Outlander, who was a huge hit with fans. And the night concluded with an epic concert lineup that had the entire field rocking with Red Hot Chili Pipers, Albannach and Bay City Rollers.

What a day, what a festival!

What an incredible night of music at the Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games!

With a crowd of nearly 10,000 strong, the field was rocking all night.

From the electrifying bagpipe rock of the Red Hot Chili Pipers, to the powerhouse Celtic rhythms of Albannach, to the legendary pop hits of the Bay City Rollers who concluded the night, it was the perfect way to celebrate our 80th anniversary in style!

And now for the grand finale to the 80th Tattoo at the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games! The night went out with a bang, a blaze, and some incredible music.

From the breathtaking sight of the Flaming Caber to the electric energy of the final bands, the closing "Candle of Lighting" ceremonies were a spectacular show of power and pride.

The field was glowing with tradition.

What an unforgettable way to end the night and kick off the biggest weekend of the year!
