Day 4, ROAD TRIP DAY!!

This is me frantically checking my list and checking it twice. Packing all the odds and ends plus all the food.

Literally loaded the last suitcase as Cam pulled up from work 😆 I’m toast !

Day 3 of packing for our Thanksgiving holiday was NO JOKE.

Typically the food prep day I set aside is for going to Costco for pre made meals or easy things like hot dogs and hamburgers.

Some of my core childhood memories are of my mom cooking, and the holidays were no exception.

I’m learning how to cook for my own family now, and I hope I can create some of those same memories for my boys.

Honestly, this day of prep was no joke. I picked super simple recipes and still didn’t have time to complete everything!

I think I need some practice 👩‍🍳

Thanksgiving road trip in T-minus 2 days 🦃

Day 2 of 4 is probably the easiest. I lay out then pack up everyone’s clothes and ourdoor gear, including what we all will be wearing day of. The car activity box and dump bag are also ready to go!

How many days does it take you to pack for a family holiday?

The easiest sweet treat recipe you could ever make but with a little Halloween twist to it.

This month, I’m trying out super easy recipes to try to become more like the woman who raised me. She always went the extra mile for us as kids, making everything magical.

If learning how to bake and make things for your kids is something you’re interested in, follow along for more ideas as I learn too 🤎

Comment SPOOKY and I’ll send you the full recipe!
