Poets and Liars is a powerhouse trio made up of seasoned New Brunswick music veterans.

Kendra leads with powerful vocals, life-driven lyrics, and no-nonsense guitar riffs, while Warren’s groove-heavy drumming keeps the energy high. Kortni’s bass ties it all together, adding punchy low-ends and harmonizing with Kendra’s vocals in perfect rock harmony.

"Now That I’m Looking" is the first single from Poets and Liars self-titled debut LP. The track overall is a no-fuss straight rock n roll approach, highlighting the talented vocals of Kendra Gale with Kortni Nicols on harmonies.

We wanted to take a quick minute to say thanks! And happy holidays! This year has been a bit quieter for the SSF crew and hey, that's ok! Sometimes life happens and you have to pull back a bit.

We did have some great moments from the past year to look back on;
The Merci-Buckets debut album Allure was nominated for Music / Musique NB's Recording of the Year and they played a slew of shows across NB, NS, PEI with a quick rip to ON and QC.

Diner Drugs EP 42 was nominated for East Coast Music Association (ECMA)'s Loud Recording of the Year and they also did a run of shows throughout NB, NS and a tour across ON, QC and the Maritimes w DON'T TRY.

SSF had the opportunity to work with the .pictures.canada crew to provide music supervision for their feature film, Don't I Know You from Somewhere and this fall we had the opportunity to attend the hometown film premiere! So cool!

We had a blast executing another great Shivering Songs festival with the whole crew (and look forward to doing it again in Jan 2025!) Lastly, working alongside The CAP crew executing offsite shows across the city throughout the year.

Hi y’all! I just got my eviction notice for my studio space at 228 Germain. It’s very short notice and I need to find another space as soon as possible. I’ve been following leads and I haven’t had any luck. If you know of anyone who can help me find a new home for Monopolized, I’d greatly appreciate it
