It wasn’t the promises— those fragile, glittering things you dangled like ornaments
on the bare branches of our life. They were always hollow, beautiful only from far away,
melting the moment I held them.

It wasn’t the vows you recited with practiced softness, or the tender tone you used to varnish your lies. I stopped believing in your words long before I stopped loving the idea
of who I thought you were. No—it was the slow unraveling of myself.

The way your smiles hid razors,
how your kindness came with hooks,
how every hurt you caused somehow became
my fault to apologize for. You taught me to doubt my own shadows, to question the bruises you painted in silence.

Leaving you wasn’t about chasing
what you failed to deliver—it was about seeing, at last, that you had nothing real to give.
That I had been feeding your hunger
with pieces of myself, mistaking depletion
for devotion. And so I walk away—not from broken promises, but from the quiet truth that you were never who you pretended to be. I leave to unlearn the story you wrote in my name, and to return, finally, to the one I was
before you rewrote me.

As life moves forward and my children grow, I’m learning how important it is to protect our peace and create a loving, steady environment. With that in mind, I’m setting some gentle boundaries for our little family.

If you haven’t been present in our lives, please know there’s no anger or judgment — just an understanding that relationships need mutual effort. I’m choosing to put my energy into the people who show up, stay connected, and choose to be part of our journey.

These boundaries aren’t meant to shut anyone out. They’re simply meant to keep our space healthy, calm, and supportive. If you’d like to be more involved, there’s always room to reconnect — with consistency, kindness, and presence.

We’re doing what’s best for our hearts, and I hope you can understand. 💛

I’m grieving someone who’s still alive — the person I once believed was my true love. Letting go of that imagined future feels like grieving a whole life I thought we would share. Instead of the simple, gentle love I hoped for, it became a trail of broken promises, tears, and hardship.

But in the middle of all this heartbreak, I’m choosing something far more important: my kids. I’m choosing their peace, their stability, their joy — and mine, too. They deserve a mother who isn’t carrying the weight of someone else’s chaos, and I deserve a life that feels calm and honest.

I’m mourning the dream, but I’m also making room for something better. A simple kind of life, built on love that’s real, steady, and safe — for me and for my children.

Here’s to healing, to choosing ourselves, and to choosing the little hearts who depend on us. 💔✨
