👋Meet Ann, the producer behind Dad Bods!
Ann Bernier is the president of Auguste Content Inc., a Halifax-based production company. An accomplished independent producer, she has extensive experience in film and television, currently producing 111, a feature film by Mauro Mueller an official coproduction with Switzerland's C-Films.
She has worked with acclaimed filmmaker John Walker on As****es: A Theory (2019), Quebec My Country Mon Pays (2016), and Arctic Defenders (2013)-films that earned Canadian Screen Award nominations and screened at festivals like Hot Docs and VIFF. Her diverse portfolio spans genres and formats, including Sullivan's Crossing (2023) for Bell Media and The CW, and Dad Bods (2025) for CBC's The Nature of Things. Her work has received critical acclaim and international recognition.
Fluent in English and French, she actively supports cross-cultural productions and serves on the boards of the Canadian Media Producers Association and the Atlantic International Film Festival. A champion of Nova Scotia's creative talent, she also contributes to Screen Nova Scotia and the Atlantic Film COOP. helping to grow the region's film industry.🎥🙌
