Hi Kids!!!
I haven't posted in awhile because I'm not a big fan of AI auto-posting AND I've been busy 🙃

- I've sorted through my inventory of (only) 4,000 artistic fonts to get the list of fonts I use (and might use!!!) in Interactive Visual Novels!! Yaaay!!! That's HUGE for a one-human show!

- I'm working slowly on the story (and action!) for Sour Muffin's Candy Land Adventure. Similar to Mystery on Airsoft Island, this one has a backstory that includes my friend, Myisha, as the Cookie Princess!! This is back to all ages (as I LOVE making kids laugh through adventures!). Myisha actually bakes cookies in real life!!!!!

- I've been developing a series of humanoid children as "The Bluenose Bunch" who are four Nova Scotian children that will have their own adventures (Somebody told me there's something something time machine?).

- I'm ALSO organizing a series of short-stories into volumes of Visual Novels, which will be available through williamclarke.itch.io for FREE online viewing or you can download for a nominal investment.

- The coolest aspects of Ren'Py Visual Novel Engine and Python is that there's always something new to learn. This engine lets me assign fonts to characters - and change on the fly! Now you know why I drilled through my collection! I had a screen grab, but cannot find it as I write this update. (See??? Now you have to follow so you get an alert when I post a screenshot 🤣.)

Mystery on Airsoft Island Easter Updates!!

The Main Menu has an expanded series of options - I broke the game briefing into its own option so it's no longer inside the story menu. I also added choices in the Airsoft Background and Game Briefing to jump to where the story begins.

More Airsoft Photo Backgrounds - Although I had coded text windows for the Airsoft Background and Game Briefing, that was still an awful lot of text!! So I decided to go with the standard VN style of text snippets. Because there is still a lot of info, I added more airsofting and local photos so as you go through, there's always something to see. Yes, all of the photos were made by me.

Misc and Effects - I changed the code for the airsoft grenades so there's now a zoom effect along with screen shakes. I cleaned up more of the dialogue and completely removed clunky passages. Why were they clunky? They were unnecessary. And for a lark, I counted 170 sprites needing to be cleared as you go through the story 🤣

Scenes - OMG! THIS IS FUN!! As the team is leaving Bravo base and encountering the sniper team, I added a choice leading to an entirely new scene, with action. Yes, you should try both.😇 I also added a scene inside Charlie base to heighten the excitement level. NO SPOILER IMAGES.

Still rated for children.
