Shameless plug for our team The Hot Blooded and our fundraising efforts for this year's Light the Night for the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, Atlantic Region

This is an annual fundraising campaign across Canada and even if you can't support this financially, go to the event on Sunday October 26th in Halifax and join the evening walk down to the waterfront and see for yourself how impactful and BEAUTIFUL this event is!

I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2017. After 5 months of chemo, 15 months of recovery and continuing treatments, I remain in remission. My cancer is expected to return and when it does I already know that thanks to research, treatment will be significantly "easier". My story is unique because my Dad and I battled blood cancer at the same time. His fight ended in 2023 so I walk and raise funds and awareness in his memory.

What a show! So many amazing Linda Ronstadt songs but this band and this performer's voice blew my mind! The ladies sitting behind me thought she was actually related to Linda! Looks like they are in Liverpool tonight and Truro tomorrow night and Sydney the next before hitting NB and PEI. If you can, go!
