I wish, when I was starting my business, that I had had someone to work closely with me and walk me through the initial stages.

Did I have mentors? Of course. But they had hundreds of other clients and couldn't work with me as closely as I would have liked.

I’m offering you the chance to work VERY closely with me. No more than 6 clients at a time.

It's even scarier to look back and wonder, what if I had gone for it? What if I had done my best, even though I was terrified?

I almost walked away from the most rewarding project of my life.

My client had given me over 100 pages worth of information.

And somehow, I had to turn all this into a book. That people would want to read.

So I did what any good writer would do.

I avoided my laptop, cleaned out the refrigerator, vacuumed, and scrubbed the bathroom. My home was sparkling clean.

After 3 days of this, I thought, I can’t do this. I have to give her all her money back and apologize.

My phone pinged.

It was a text from my client, who I was about to let down.

“Hey, here’s that poem I told you about.”

It was called Don’t Quit.

I laughed out loud. And then cried.

Never before has the universe given me such a clear, decisive sign.

I got out a notebook and pen and STARTED.

From that day forward, I committed myself to the project 100%. No matter what, I was going to complete that book.

My client absolutely loves the book. She said no one except me could have brought it to life the way I did. 🥹

Launch date: January 2026.

Last year, she flew across international borders so we could meet in person. My friendship with her is unlike any other, and I am so incredibly proud of what we have created together.

Money can’t buy this feeling.

So why don’t they?

They’re overthinking it, and making it much more complicated than it needs to be.

And self-doubt , limiting beliefs and fear of failure are holding them back.

You don’t need:
-a website
-an expensive business plan
-an audience
-another degree or certification

Here’s what you DO need:

-a simple idea that truly serves others
-a messy, imperfect first offer
-a way to get paid

That’s it.

“Anything remote.”

So many hygienists want to do ANYTHING else. Anything that isn’t hygiene. Anything work from home. The desperation is palpable.

We love our patients, and most of us enjoy our work…. for the first 10-20 years. After a while, our bodies can only take so much.

Most of the hygienists I have met believe they can’t be good at anything but hygiene.

They’re wrong. Because I believed that too.

Remember the first time you picked up a gracey? Remember how awkward it felt? Remember how convinced you were that you would NEVER be good at this?

But you are. You could probably do it in your sleep now.

What makes you so sure you can’t do the same with a new skill?

What if you could create a one-of-a-kind business doing work that lights you up? What if you found something you enjoy so much you forget what time it is?

I woke up on January 1, 2022 and said “that’s it. I’m not spending the rest of my life telling people to floss.”

After a few false starts, I discovered copywriting and brand voice. I became obsessed. I would race home from the dental office, hoping to squeeze in 30 minutes of writing before I picked up my daughter.

I never thought I would be a business owner. Rent, overhead, employees, supples etc sounded overwhelming. But… just me and my laptop? I could handle that.

After 3 months of hard work, I found my first client, an orthodontist. He chose my premium package and paid me $3,000. I couldn’t believe it.

My confidence soared. I started walking with my head held high. It was exhilarating. I felt alive, awake and present. My friends felt my vibe shift.

I had NO IDEA I had the ability to do this. Every day I wonder where I would be if I had settled for the status quo.

What will your business look like? We don’t know yet! We have to explore. We need to get comfortable with sitting in uncertainty for a bit. We have to drill down to the nitty gritty of who you are and what you can contribute to others’ lives. I promise you, it’s there. It just needs to be awakened.

Are you willing to get curious? Are you willing to explore your untapped gifts and give yourself a chance?
