In 2022, life brought us closer than ever as we worked side by side managing our family business—a serene beach resort in the Philippines. Those days were filled with laughter, shared dreams, and the joy of building something meaningful together. The waves whispered promises of forever, and under the warm tropical sun, we felt invincible.
But 2023 tested our love. When I moved to Canada to pursue my goals, the distance between us grew vast—oceans apart. Our days turned into video calls and messages, our nights filled with longing. Yet, even with the miles between us, our bond only grew stronger. We cheered for each other’s successes, comforted each other through challenges, and never stopped believing that our love could overcome any obstacle.
Finally, 2024 arrived, and with it, the moment we had been waiting for. You joined me here in Canada, turning our dreams into reality. No more screens, no more distance—just us, together again, ready to face the world hand in hand.
