Same Boat Theatre Same Boat Theatre Company is a Canadian theatre company based in Hamilton, ON.

Same Boat Theatre will premiere their first production as a company in this year’s Fringe Festival. Previous to this year, all of the company founders have collaborated together as part of the Hamilton Fringe Festival. In 2013, Aaron, Stephen and Lauren premiered the LARP-themed play Test to both critical acclaim and enthusiasm from Fringe audiences. And, in 2014, the company co-founders were back

at the Fringe with the premier of the short, paranoia-fueled play The Conspiracy of Michael as part of the Gallery mini-Series.

This month, we’ll be reading “Get Away”, a new script by the Hamilton playwright !

After last night's monthly June Dispatches play reading of "Rattle", our company has another important event with the annual City of Hamilton Arts Awards as Stephen and Aaron have been nominated once again.

Congrats to all of the nominees at this year's Arts Awards. Making art is a challenging process at the best of times, so it's always gratifying to see our city make a point of celebrating those who do this kind of work for the community.

"That's the end"

Hamlet has now wrapped, and what a fantastic experience. Drawing on hometown talent, and re-energizing a heritage space in North End, this production succeeded beyond our wildest hopes.

Many thanks to Rob and St. Luke’s Mission and to our audiences who SOLD OUT the houses and made ours the coolest ticket in town.
