Every time I go to my son, hug him, or hold him in my arms, I think of my father.

My father used to love us the same way when we were little. He would hold us close, shower us with love, and miss us whenever we were away.

But now, we are all busy with our own lives. We have our own responsibilities, our own worries, and our own dreams. Without even realizing it, we have all left our parents behind and become caught up in our own lives.

Maybe one day, my son will grow up and do the same.

That thought has made me realize something. InshaAllah, I don’t want to raise my children only for this world. I don’t want their education, success, or achievements to be only for worldly life.

Whatever I teach them, whatever I give them, and whatever I do for them, I want it to be for the sake of Allah. Because I believe that when we raise our children for Allah, there can be peace in this world and, InshaAllah, peace in the Hereafter as well.

Please keep my children in your prayers. May Allah make them righteous and kind. May they grow up to belong to Allah, to the Hereafter, and to their parents not forgetting us while they are busy building their own lives.

May my children be better than us, and may they never become too busy with this world to forget the people who loved them first.

Ameen. 🤲❤️

It felt like I was swimming after years, and when I got out of the water, I felt so light and refreshed. I can’t even explain the feeling. 🥰
