I recently talked to a few people that didn’t know chickens eat their own raw eggs some times. It’s a super bad habit, and very tough to break once they start!

However; occasionally I’ll scramble some of their eggs WITH the shells and feed that back to them as a treat. The shells provide them with the calcium they may need if they’re lacking it!

And that is your fun chicken fact for the day!🐓

But story time quick.. no I’m not running a chicken penitentiary😂 someone has been eating eggs, and egg eaters are not allowed. You have to provide for the table to pay your rent, not eat your rent🤷🏻‍♀️

So chicken surveillance in underway to find out who’s eating their own butt nuggets🙃🥴
