One of my favourite images to come out of our Alaska trip filming . I’ve always been a huge fan of details and capturing the small moments in a wide landscape. The moon, a reflection, a single mountain peak. These are the details that can go missed when focusing on the bigger picture. We were fortunate enough to partner with in exchange for gear on this project, and the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM made sure I never missed a detail. and I had decided to go for a sunset walk of he coastline on our first full day in Anchorage, and it was our first time realizing how many planes fly around the Alaskan skies. With the 100-500 in hand, we were able to react quickly and snag some shots of the planes around a nearby peak. The range on this lens really allowed me to create a versatile set of images, really capturing how it felt to be arch the sun go down that night.

Really excited to keep sharing more of what was created on this trip.

this weekend we officially wrap the production section of . This project has truly been the most fulfilling creative undertaking I’ve ever been a part of, and the hardest. I am so grateful to be trusted to help bring story to the big screen, and to make so many memories along the way. Speaking to the people involved in this has reminded me why I create and given me a clearer path forward. It is a privilege to share these emotional and deeply personal moments with everyone, and be welcomed to do so.

Now it’s time to dive into editing and post production.

one of the most beautiful experiences that I’ve ever had in nature. These conditions aren’t something you can plan for, they settle in if the time is right. We had been driving through rain all morning on our way to Homer, and stopped for a perfect reflection over the ice at this lake. There was an inch of water on top of the ice, making it a pristine mirror. After almost two hours of shooting and skating, right when we thought it was time to leave, a giant cloud set in around the lake, creating this ethereal disorienting setting. I am so grateful that we got to experience this; and do it with skates on.

Huge shoutout to for snapping a few photos of me enjoying myself at the end, otherwise I wouldn’t have any from this moment.
