2 years ago, I felt called to stop drinking alcohol.

To reflect and get honest with myself and others about the negative impact alcohol had on my life.

I wasn't a daily drinker, there were times I would say no to an offered drink, I didn't spend all my money on booze.

I DID make decisions when drinking that left me feeling guilt and shame the next day. I did often drink the whole bottle of wine and wish for more. I did have a dependency on the escape it provided me.

You don't have to be a bottom barrel drunk to benefit from reflection on your drinking. You don't have to light your entire world on fire to acknowledge areas in life that could use a little light.

This isn't a PSA that alcohol is bad. It's not me trying to sway you into sobriety.

It's a loving reminder that if you feel like s**t about your drinking, there's support to help you make a different choice.
