A few years ago I was working three jobs to keep my family afloat.

Now I’m in my kitchen at 11am on a Tuesday.

Cutting onions.

Going nowhere.

Apologising to nobody.

We came to Canada from the Philippines for this — not the postcard version of Canada, but this version.

The quiet, ordinary, completely unremarkable Tuesday version where I cook lunch for my family in my own home and the day belongs to us.

Every midnight cleaning shift.

Every overcrowded calendar.

Every “just a few more years.”

Was building toward this Tuesday.

I don’t share this to impress you.

I share it because somewhere right now there’s someone grinding double shifts wondering if the sacrifice will ever look like something.

It will.

But not if you keep waiting for the perfect moment to start building differently.

2. PASSIVE INCOME

It pays you while you sleep, eat, watch your child's school play.
No clock. No permission slip. No ceiling.

3. LEVERAGED INCOME
Your effort multiplies through a system, a team, or a network.
You earn not just on what you do — but on what the system does for you.

I've spent years and years being Type 1, the ACTIVE INCOME earner.

Almost everyone I know and met over the years are the same as I am, not building any PASSIVE or LEVERAGED INCOME.

Not because they couldn't.

Because nobody showed them how.

You've been saying "I'll start next month" since last year.

Don't be offended.

Because I said it for years too.

Next month became next quarter.

Next quarter became next year.

Next year became a version of me I didn't recognize in the mirror.

Here's the honest truth about "next month" —

Every time you say it, you're not buying time.

You're spending it.

The most expensive currency you have is not in your bank account.

It's the month you just let pass while telling yourself the next one would be different.

Nobody who changed their life waited for the perfect Monday.

Let me say that again for the people in the back.

NOBODY. WAITED. FOR. PERFECT.

The person who started the business — started messy.

The person who left the job — left scared.

The person who built the freedom — built it while still inside the cage.

Here's what I know after everything my family went through —

I didn't wait for the right conditions.

I made the conditions right by starting.

June 2nd is not too late to start.

It's not ""already behind.""

It's day 153 OF 2026 and there are 212 days that are still completely unwritten.
