I’ve heard it said that 99% of photography is failure, but that’s only true if you don’t count the small successes. It’s like we’ve forgotten that it’s just as much about the journey as the destination. Doesn’t anyone believe in clichés anymore? The good clichés, that is. Just getting out of the house, engaging with your neighbours, and practicing seeing is all you need. The photos you walk away probably won’t hold a candle to the full experience of making them. But if the photos do somehow surpass the moment contained within them, well then I guess you’ve found the 1%.

Which is your favourite and why? There are no wrong answers. Only missed opportunities.

With the long winter finally finished, life has returned to the streets just in time for it to move on for the season. It was a pleasure meeting new people and experiencing their kindness and smiles while I practice photography!

Days like these really make you feel how open and warm everyone is with the right approach. So many nice memories from recent photo walks, lots more photos to share with you, and good stories too! Go with the flow and you never know where you’ll go!

St. Patrick’s Day 2026. We were a little snowed-in but that couldn’t stop us from going all out! Great to see some spring spirit on the streets with warm smiles to thaw our collective hearts.

You don’t have to be swimming to be underwater. I feel like technically speaking being in the fog, snow, or rain is a very slow version of the same thing, just with a little more breathing room.
