🚨 Stolen Motorcycle Recovered in Kingston — Driver Under Suspension

Late Sunday night, Kingston Police pulled over a Honda CBR in the Railway St./Patrick St. area after spotting it with no plates.

🔎 The driver was found to be under suspension, and the bike’s ignition had been tampered with. Part of the VIN was also scratched off.

A 36-year-old Kingston man was arrested and held for a bail hearing.

🎪 Kingston Buskers Festival Ends in Rare Tie for People’s Choice!

The 2025 Kingston Buskers Rendezvous wrapped with a twist — a tie for the People’s Choice Award, only the third in the event’s 35-year history!

👏 The crowd couldn’t choose between:
🇦🇷 The Twins’ Trip – acrobatic twin brothers from Argentina
🇦🇺 Richard Filby – circus veteran from Australia via London

Both acts will return in 2026!

This year’s festival also raised funds for United Way’s Success By 6 and welcomed thousands to family-friendly events like Juggle Junction.

Dan Aykroyd was on a mission from the pickleball gods!

The Kingston-born actor and Saturday Night Live alum stopped by the Kingston Pickleball Club at their annual open tournament last week.

Aykroyd cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony, and took time to speak with players and fans, and took photos.

🚨 Driveway Paving Scam Warning in Kingston 🚨

Kingston Police are warning residents about a door-to-door scam offering steeply discounted driveway paving — for cash up front.

Scammers often claim they’re working nearby and pressure homeowners into quick decisions. Victims are left with incomplete work, blocked driveways, and no way to reach the "business."

🚫 Fake websites
⚠️ Poor-quality or abandoned jobs
📣 Suspects may have Irish or similar accents
