Two people had to be rescue after falling through the ice on Dog Lake Thursday night.

OPP say the ice at this time of the year is not safe to walk on.

Reid and Ben: Kingston Tri-Board buses ARE on the roads today, however several others, like those in South Frontenac, have been cancelled. Schools remain open.

Thursday, December 11, 2025:

Due to ongoing snow covered conditions on many secondary & side roads, transportation is cancelled in Tri-Board’s North Hastings, Centre Hastings, North Lennox & Addington, Central Lennox & Addington, North & Central Frontenac and South Frontenac weather zones today.

A bus is cancelled in a weather zone if it serves a school or has a bus stop located in the weather zone.

Buses may be cancelled in other zones based on local conditions.

Schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day.

Reid and Ben: A yellow warning? Environment Canada’s recently started colour coding these things, but the point is there’s a lot of snow coming tomorrow, buds. Leave yourself a little extra time (and make sure you’re stocked up on wiper fluid, etc.) for the commute.

Brittany: It's "Christmas Card" day.

Spent nearly $40 on stamps mailing out cards on the weekend. 😵‍💫
