Free kids activity built into your Costco grocery haul?
👍It’s a no brainer!

I’ve been doing this for YEARS. Ever since I was shopping with my second baby in tow, and a lovely Costco Wholesale Canada employee suggested I stock up on this cardstock. I gasped with excitement, as the mom and educator in me immediately saw so many uses for this stuff, and for FREE!

⭐️This is my favourite, most common, and easiest use for this paper.
🍴You can also drop it on your table like it’s a Montana’s Restaurant.
✏️Or do like I do, and grab and extra to pass along to your kinder teacher who will always come up with uses for this stuff!

Making snow ice cream in a bag is superior! ✨

❄️Why?
• It gets the kid’s energy out
• You can make more than one if you have lots of kids, and it’s a little bit more manageable for our smallest ones as well (no spillage 👌)
• It’s arguably more fun to punch a bag of snow than mix in a bowl!

👩‍🍳All you need is:
- half a cup of cream, I used 10%
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
(You don’t need to be exact at all).

💁‍♀️How:
• Head outside with your bags, spoons and salt.
• With the smaller bag sealed inside, let the kids add snow to the large bag.
• Shake in a bunch of salt. I never honestly measure it, and a course salt works best, although table salt will work.
• Let the kids go crazy mixing for about 10 minutes.
• Check it, if it’s not quite ice cream texture throughout the entire smaller bag, just add a little bit more snow and keep going for a few extra minutes.
• Check again, and you should have delicious vanilla ice cream to enjoy, eh!
