1.Your teenager may stop telling you everything.
Don’t panic. Keep the door open so they know they can always come back to you.
2. Their friends suddenly matter A LOT.
You may not like every friendship, but teach them how to recognize good and bad influence.
3. They need boundaries AND freedom.
Growing up doesn’t mean no rules. Give them age-appropriate independence while still knowing where they are and who they’re with.
4. Social media is influencing them more than you realize.
What they watch, who they follow and what they compare themselves to can affect how they see themselves.
5. They still need their mum—even when they act like they don’t. ❤️
The attitude, eye rolls and “I’m fine!” don’t mean they don’t need you. Sometimes, they need your presence more than your lecture.
Mums of teenagers, which one would you add?
