Brinsea Ovation 56 Advance + large trays

It’s with a heavy heart I’m offering my favorite toy for sale:
My best, most reliable incubator. I’ve achieved 100% hatch rates with it—even with goose eggs.
This unit holds temperature and humidity very well, and the turner timer can be adjusted to your needs. I never had to worry about adding water during incubation, unless I opened the unit to candle the eggs.

This set comes with additional large trays that fit 15 large goose eggs (we used to breed Toulouse geese, and their eggs were big) and rails for quail eggs (never used).

Will fit
56 standard chicken eggs
Up to 56 duck or turkey eggs
110 quail eggs
95 pheasant eggs
15 goose eggs.

Selling for $640 (30% off the retail price of $917 + tax).

The lambs are growing fast! If you’re looking to add some lambs to your flock, shoot me a message.

We currently have two ewe lambs available, both sired by Bandit.
• Aliya – a Katahdin bottle baby. She’s a triplet out of Gypsy (her little mini-me).
• Mira – a 75/25 Katahdin/East Friesian ewe lamb. She’s Zaya’s daughter and Caramel’s granddaughter. She was born a triplet and raised as a twin until her sister Mintaka was rehomed, now she’s getting all the milk for herself and growing like a w**d.

We also have a few ram lambs available:
• Altair – Bandit’s son, a triplet out of Gypsy, raised as twin
• Sirius – Bandit’s son, a twin out of Snowflake
• Matar – Ramsy’s son, a twin out of Molly
• Orion – Ramsy’s son, a single out of Kirby

We are considering parting with our friendly goose flock.

2 purebred Dewlap Toulouse ganders (males) (2023 and 2025 hatches).
3 Dewlap/Standard Toulouse geese (females) (2025 hatch).

We would prefer to rehome them before they start laying, but we are not in a rush. Once they start laying, they will stay with us for another season.

We are open to splitting the group, but preference and a discount will be given to someone who takes the whole herd.

Anybody else in spring/chick mode? 🐣

We hatched our first batch of hardy, dual-purpose chicks for the year and have some available for sale.

Black Copper Marans and Wheaten Ameraucanas, covered by our majestic Black and Blue Croad Langshan roosters. Healthy, vigorous chicks that will lay green or brown eggs, possibly with a bloom.

After cleaning out the incubator, I baked the empty eggshells and crushed them to feed back to our hens.

Update on my last post: as I was posting it, Kirby’s lamb was literally on the way—a huge 7 kg ram lamb named Orion.

I apologize to those who were on the waitlist for a dairy ewe lamb. Nature had its own way, and we got more boys than girls this round (2:1).

But there is still hope—we’re waiting for girls off Zephira and Friska, and our new ram, Jaque.

Today’s spotlight is on our rams: Bandit, Ramsy, and Jaque.

Bandit sired 19 lambs this season—6 ram lambs and 13 ewe lambs, including four Katahdin crosses (three 75/25 Katahdin–East Friesian and one 75/25 Katahdin–Romanov).

So far, Ramsy has sired two lambs: Maya and Matar and more are on the way. Jaques’s offspring should arrive in April.

Not a bad season for these boys—strong genetics, healthy lambs. Keep an eye on them—we’ll have some lambs available in a couple of months!
