We’re excited to introduce something brand new: The Wishlist! A local Christmas shopping guide made especially for (but not exclusive to) kids! 🎁

This idea actually came from one of our readers, who suggested creating a Christmas catalog that would make it easier for parents to see what local stores have to offer for kids, without having to visit every store to find out. Plus, there are local stores that you might never guess carry kids’ toys and gifts.

Kids can flip through, check off their favourites things, and we'll include a page for them to list all the items they'd love.

Our hope is that it makes local shopping a little easier, helps parents find what they need more efficiently, and highlights all our amazing local businesses.

Our first year doing The Wishlist, and we’re excited to see what you think!

We're not against AI, we use it too in certain areas. For example, if a customer doesn't know how to word things or doesn't send much information, AI is very helpful in filling in the blanks. And it's been a game changer for low-res photos and logos! 😄

If you send us an ad made with AI, that's totally fine. But we still love designing ads from scratch, using our own creativity and thinking about what actually catches the attention of people here in the North.

Did you know when you advertise with us, the initial design is included? You'll get a proof to review, and if you need any changes made we'll do that too. (Charges apply to revisions made thereafter)
