Shoutout to all the people exposing them dealers…i been down that road of buying drugs in places i never thought id end up.

One time we were travelling back from the far north after a hockey tourney, we stopped in Ilex at this tiny home on main and bought some drugs and the guy asked us to take his kid to school. And we did no soul left in me picking up drugs after travelling all night and taking this kid to school.

I see my family lost down that path now and these dealers dont give a s**t.

Aho we dont live there no more.

Something very unsettling today i came across.

We deal with racism everywhere but more often in our communities it is lateral violence.

If we cant support one another dont expect to be in places we have never occupied.

Today, we honour the children who never made it home, the Survivors who continue to carry the memories and impacts of residential schools, and the families and communities who have carried this pain across generations.

Every child deserved to grow up surrounded by love, family, language, culture, and community.

Today is more than wearing orange. It is a time to listen, learn, remember, and reflect on the history of residential schools and their ongoing impacts on Indigenous peoples.

As Indigenous people, our languages, cultures, stories, teachings, and traditions are part of who we are. Reclaiming and strengthening these gifts is part of healing and building a better future for our children.

Let us honour those who were lost by making sure the next generation knows their language, knows their culture, knows where they come from, and knows that they matter.

We remember. We honour. We heal. We carry forward.
