🌲 Paced the river valley memorizing my lines

🏥 Late-night ER run for croup, home at 4 a.m.
💼 Straight to my day job

Nothing like finding out your show time is 4 days early 🤣
It’s Edmonton Startup Week and we are pitching TONIGHT!
Here I thought we had a few more days to (start) practice.

I’m pulling out the old showgirl tricks and getting ready for the stage. Exercise, practice, and walking and talking to myself.

This month’s 7 Summits Snacks Social is hitting Hawrelak Park for a speed workout, so get ready to get pacey!

Coach J will work you through different aerobic capacities this time, and what a better way to do it then with some friendly competition.

Whether you’re chasing a new fastest mile or just want to shake off the cobwebs, the workout will be tailored to different paces so everyone gets a session that actually challenges them.

✨All abilities are welcome!

As a mom and an adventurer, I want my kids to know that big dreams are worth chasing with your whole heart. 💛🏔️

Every day, they watch us build something from scratch. They see the hard days, the wins, the setbacks and the getting back up. They’re learning that courage isn’t about being fearless, it’s about trying anyway.

I hope they grow up believing their ideas matter. That they can climb any mountain they set their sights on. And that the journey is always better together.

Got a serious case of missing CHFA East, the championships for natural food brands in Canada 🇨🇦 But this week we’re competing in a different arena.

We’re building a global brand (one day!), and we also compete at a world class level. This week we’ve been at the World Triathlon Championships cheering on our GM Jason as he represents Canada at his 44th multisport Worlds 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Also a highlight, being able to cheer on youth ambassador Lukas Vadeika in his FIRST World Championships!

Staying active in sport while we build this company isn’t a distraction, it’s the whole point. It keeps us honest about what athletes actually need, it’s where we test every bar before it hits a shelf, and it reminds us why we started: fuelling people who love to push their limits.

Go Jason and congratulations to the 500 Canadian athletes who gave it others all this weekend from 18 to over 80!! 🍫⛰️

Big news, twice over! 🏔️

7 Summits Snacks has been named one of the Top 10 companies at Edmonton Startup Week's 2026 Launch Party AND to Scale Up Canada's Edmonton50 list of the city's most promising startups.

We're the only food brand in a Top 10 full of AI, biotech and defence tech, proof that simple food IS innovative these days. It all started with one question from our co-founder Leanna: can we fuel with chocolate? Nearly 300 retail locations later, you're proving the answer is yes. 💪
