🇨🇦 Weather Radio Canada was shut down this past March. In Canada, we already have very limited ways to receive weather warnings to begin with. Now, without weather radio, we're essentially down to just the mobile network and internet to get warnings. If we lose that in a storm we can no longer receive warnings.

Please sign this petition to restore the weather radio network organized by Alberta MP Dane Lloyd.

This is a vital and life saving service.

We're saddened to hear about the loss of the Grand Bend Rona. Thankfully, Grand Bend Locals reports that all staff made it out 🙏

Crews are on scene for a commercial structure fire in the area of Lake Road and Ontario Street South (Highway 21). Please avoid the area. Residents in the nearby subdivision should shelter in place and close windows and doors; and follow further instructions from on-scene emergency personnel.
