Update: Power returned the TV tower around 7:00 tonight. Some channels are experiencing sound/video syncing issues. We will work on this in the coming days.

BC Hydro is reporting a power outage due to trees on power lines which is impacting the TV Tower site. All TV Channels and radio stations we broadcast are down until power is restored, and our volunteers are able to visit the tower.

An Update from Logan Lake TV.

This morning, we lost multiple channels.
We had a volunteer on-site by 6:30 am, and all but WGN were fixed and back on the air by 8:30. (The problem was a faulty line-amplifier which has been replaced.) WGN has some troubles with it's receiver, so we have taken it off-air until we can sort it out - which may take a few days.

LLTVS President David Young’s endless volunteer work was awarded the 2025 Logan Lake Citizen of the Year! This well deserved title highlights David’s incredible contributions to keeping the TV system going. David continues to be instrumental in the transition to HEVC, a process that has been far from easy.

Update from Logan Lake TV.

All our channels are working, but the on-screen Program Guide (Ch. 32.1) is off the air. The computer which generates the listing has run 24/7 for nearly 10 years, but has now given up the ghost. It will take us a couple of days to get a new one and get it configured. Please bear with us.

It turns out that the Canadian feed for USA Network is different than the USA feed, as a number of Canadian programs had to be added to meet CRTC "Canadian content" rules. At the moment, only the US schedule is available and it's not even close to accurate. Our listings provider expects to have the Canadian line-up available shortly. We will add it and let you know as soon as possible.

The listings for Flavour and Home ARE accurate.

An update from Logan Lake TV.

Flavour (ch. 32.2), Home (Ch. 32.3) and USA Network (Ch. 34.2) are now up an running. You need not many any adjustments to your TV.

However, while many TVs will accomodate the changes automagically, but some will still identify as Food, HGTV and Disc when you first change the channel. Your TV will still get the Flavour/Home/USA Network signals, but if you wish your channel ID's to be correct, please run a Channel Search, found in the menus's of your TV. Advice on how to do that is found it article #3, under Help, on our website, LLTVS.ca.

Our on-screen program guide (Ch. 32.1) has the correct programming for Flavour and Home. However, there are four program listings options for the USA network. We have tried them all and, as of this morning, none match the actual programming. This may be due to last minute changes by the network, and may sort itself out, over the next day or two.

We will continue to watch it, and will contact our listings provider if necessary.

Breaking news! Our signals have been experiencing interference, neighbouring communities have also reported a similar issue. Reports all around the globe of jingle bells and occasional sounds of hooves on the roof seem to occur shortly before signal loss, if this happens to you, please rest easy as it will pass by morning. At the end of 2024 we will see changes to three channels on Logan Lake TV.

HGTV will become Home, Food Network will become Flavour, and Discovery Channel will become USA Network.

Home, Flavour, and USA Network will all have similar programming to their previous incarnations, with some changes.

USA Network is one of the top 3 cable channels in the U.S. and will be home to previous Discovery channel favourites such as Highway Thru Hell. It will also feature East Harbour Heros, The Mighty, Suits, The Traitors and the upcoming CIA Mini-series, Debriefing the President.

Your televisions should seamlessly handle these changes.

These changes are due to changes in network ownership, are beyond our control and we thank you for your understanding.
