So many people think people with epilepsy are stup1d & invalids. I fare fine. So why day after day call me a us3less person, laugh at my art when I gift it. Say I'm a horrible artist & should quit?
But yet some of my past clients were: well known brands & some important people. Im good enough for them.

I don't think I'll be apart of BIST's in-person and digital art show going forward.
Who ever took over the event has been distant and absent.
Emails either never answered even after months. Communication was only replied to during the due date and pick up date.
My artwork was supposed to be on canvas. But.... by the time they read the email months later... it was too late.
I always submit super early. No event photos were taken by volunteers. No follow up of how it went...nothing..
The digital was done by the previous person doing it and that went smoothly.

The in person art gallery in Toronto, Canada starts June 6th.
I won't be there in person. Thats a 3 hour drive away. Too much for my motion triggered epilepsy. But volunteers will be taking photos of the event and where my artwork is hanging for me.
For those with mobility issues or not near Toronto. There is an online show too.

June is 💜💚💙🩷🧡💛🌈 Brain Injury Awareness Month in Canada.
I have a permanent TBI aka Traumatic Brain Injury. Caused by others actions. Including: brain stem, sight issues, epilepsy, etc.

The show starts, during brain injury awareness month in June.

I wanted to do a piece in reflection of my perception, of my physical apperance Ive struggled with since my TBI. When I look in the mirror.. I don't see the person I know. I see a stranger in pain, injured, bruised and tired. The smile, glow and focused demeanor is gone.
It's dark on one side of the mirror. But I punch through it with such FORCE.. it shatters. And the light reveals that what was hidden beneath it.
