⚠️ SERIOUS LONDON UPDATE

London police have charged a 41-year-old man with second-degree murder after a woman died following an incident at a Chelton Road residence on September 15.

Police say the victim and accused were in an intimate relationship and are calling her death a femicide. Other family members were inside the home but were not injured.

London has already declared intimate-partner violence an epidemic. This is not simply a private tragedy—it is a serious community issue that demands attention.

🌳 200 new trees in London Ontario

The City says it planted 200 trees at Village SoHo this week, along the pathway connecting to the Thames Valley Parkway.

It’s nice to see a change Londoners can actually walk past. Have you been through that stretch of the trail lately?

London Ontario keeps talking about better transit.

But for riders, the question is simple:
Does it actually make getting to work, school, appointments, and home easier?

Because if route changes, detours, and construction keep throwing off people’s day, the system still needs work.

London Ontario deserves answers.

The LHSC fraud investigation is not just another headline. This is about public trust in one of the most important institutions in our city.

When millions of dollars are allegedly tied up in fraud, procurement issues, and failed oversight, residents are allowed to ask how it happened, who was responsible, and what changes are being made so it does not happen again.

Health care is already under enough pressure.
Accountability matters.

This is what people mean when they say parts of London Ontario feel like they’ve been left to deal with the crisis on their own.

Sidewalks, storefronts, bus stops, and public spaces should not become places where people are struggling in plain sight with nowhere better to go.

Residents deserve safer streets, and people in crisis deserve real help.

Public transit should feel fair and safe for the people who rely on it every day.

When riders are paying for passes they can barely afford, it’s understandable they get frustrated watching rules ignored and problems pushed onto everyone else on the bus.

LTC needs to work better for paying riders, drivers, seniors, students, workers, and people who have no other way around the city.
