She Comes First

She Comes First I create spaces for real, unfiltered conversations about midlife and perimenopause- and everything that comes with that. Curious, empathetic, zero judgement.

The messy, the shame, the guilt, the realizations. The shifts most people don’t talk about.

I’ve been looking into simple things that are often recommended for midlife women to help with stress, energy, sleep, mood, and all the other fun little surprises that seem to show up during perimenopause.

Nothing extreme.
Nothing time consuming.
Nothing “woo woo.”
Nothing expensive.
Nothing that requires me to wake up at 5 a.m. or spend hours in the kitchen preparing. Ain’t no one got time for that!
I just wanna try a few small habits that are realistic to me and my life.

So I’m going to try these consistently for the next few weeks and see if I notice a difference.

If I’m less irritable, sleep better, stop forgetting why I walked into rooms, or feel even a little more like myself, I’ll report back.

Have you tried any of these? Something different? Which one made the biggest difference for you?

👇 Tell me below.

Not hot because you’re flawless…

Hot because you’re fully here.
Hot because you laugh loudly.
Hot because you take up space.
Hot because you hype people up.
Hot because you don’t judge.
Hot because you’re done making yourself smaller to make other people comfortable.

That’s incredibly powerful!!!

You ARE fukking hot.

Tell me one thing you like about yourself today. No deflecting. No qualifiers. Just one thing.

Perimenopause happens alongside everything else in your life.

It’s happening while you’re raising kids, newly supporting aging parents,
working full time, managing an entire household, navigating all sorts of relationships... All while trying to remember who the eff you are underneath it all.

And yet so many women still think they should be handling it better. I know I struggle with this constantly!

But maybe we don’t need to try harder... Maybe we just need to STOP being so hard on ourselves.

Things change significantly in midlife. Let’s try to give ourselves some grace.

What would change if you gave yourself the same compassion you give everyone else?
