Industry Innovation in Motion

North American logistics provider Fuel Transport and consumer health giant Kenvue have launched a new pilot project called “eLoop” to test electric freight delivery routes across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

The initiative is designed to evaluate how electric trucks perform in real-world urban and cold-weather conditions while supporting lower-emissions transportation solutions.

The pilot, launched in January 2026, will assess:
- EV performance on short-haul urban routes
- Energy efficiency in dense city operations
- Emissions reduction potential
- Future-ready logistics solutions

Kenvue — maker of iconic brands like Tylenol®, Aveeno®, Listerine®, and Neutrogena® — is partnering with Fuel Transport to explore more sustainable and resilient supply chain operations across Canada.

“This pilot reflects the practical steps we’re taking to reduce emissions while continuing to reliably deliver the everyday care Canadians rely on,” said Chris Mascella, Sr. Director, Head of Supply Chain Canada, Kenvue.

Fuel Transport CEO Robert Piccioni added that the project is an important step toward building more flexible and future-forward logistics solutions.

As the transportation industry continues evolving, collaborations like this highlight how innovation and sustainability are shaping the future of urban freight delivery.
