My lovelies, I need to address something because some of the comments on this page are becoming unnecessarily harsh and demanding.
First of all, I have never forced anyone to follow this page or watch my stories. I simply asked those who enjoy my content to please subscribe to my YouTube channel because upcoming episodes will also be available there. Subscribing to a YouTube channel is FREE. Nobody is being forced to do it.
Yet somehow, even that simple request has turned into complaints.
“Why should we go to YouTube?”
“Why should we subscribe now?”
“When will the next episode be ready?”
“Why is YouTube on Episode 36 when Facebook is already on Episode 40-something?”
“Facebook and YouTube should be on the same episode.”
Please, what exactly is all this?
Are you the one managing my pages? Do you know when I created my page and when I created my YouTube channel?
My YouTube channel is newer, and I only recently started uploading the story there. Naturally, the episodes will not automatically be at the same point. I am working to build that platform too, and I should be allowed to do that without having to defend every single decision I make.
When I started creating this story, my episodes were around two minutes long because that was what was convenient for me. People kept asking for longer episodes, so I listened. Now I create episodes that can run for 15–20 minutes, and somehow that still isn’t enough. The episodes are “too short,” they “take too long,” or I should “hurry up.”
At what point do you remember that there is an actual human being behind this page?
While you are living your lives, I also have a life to live. Creating these stories takes my time, energy and effort. I cannot continue allowing people to pressure me into working according to their personal schedules.
So from now on, I will create at the pace that works for me. I will decide the length of my episodes. I will decide where and when I upload them. I will run my platforms in the way that works best for me.
If that is no longer convenient for you, you are absolutely free to stop watching or unfollow. There is no obligation on either side.
And ironically, many of the people who genuinely support me, encourage me and have subscribed to my channel are not the ones constantly making demands.
Please, enough.
You can enjoy the story, discuss the characters, laugh, argue about Nonso and Lia, and have fun with me that is what this community is supposed to be about. But please stop speaking to me as though I owe you episodes on demand.
I appreciate everyone who genuinely supports what I do. ❤️
But I am done allowing unnecessary pressure and entitlement to dictate how I run my page.
