🇬🇧 A new national memorial is coming to London — and it will honor Queen Elizabeth II with a lasting tribute near Buckingham Palace. 👑✨

Renowned sculptor Martin Jennings, already behind portraits of the Queen Mother and King Charles, has been chosen to design the late monarch’s statue for Queen Elizabeth II Place. Alongside it, the project will also include a new Prince Philip Gate, gardens, meandering paths, and even a stunning glass unity bridge. 🌿🌉

Unveiling is planned for 2026 — the year the Queen would have turned 100. The artist says he wants the statue to capture her “dignity, grace, and constancy”… but with grandeur and delight befitting Britain’s longest-reigning monarch.
