Custom projects are some of my favourites.

A customer recently ordered one of my modular motorcycle helmet mounts, but he had one special request...

He wanted a miniature Harley-Davidson to sit beneath his helmet - and he wanted it printed in the same blue as his brand new bike.

Challenge accepted!

Seeing everything come together on the wall was incredibly satisfying, and to top it off, I stopped by to help with the installation.

🏆 A little piece of football history... made right here in New Brunswick.

Some projects are just plain fun to bring to life.

This 10" championship trophy takes over 11 hours to print and is finished in a beautiful silk gold filament that really shines in the light. Whether it's for a sports room, office, bedroom, or man cave, it's a display piece that's sure to get noticed.

Nobody warns you that a growing child requires approximately 14,000 snacks per day.

Granola bars.

Pouches.

Crackers.

Fruit snacks.

More crackers.

At some point, our pantry started looking less like a pantry and more like a small grocery store.

To restore order, I printed a set of stackable storage bins to keep everything organized, easy to access, and visible at a glance.

The result?

✔️ Less pantry chaos

✔️ Easier snack selection

✔️ Faster lunches

✔️ One less thing for tired parents to think about

Sometimes the best 3D printing projects aren't the flashy ones, they're the ones that quietly make everyday life a little easier.

Now if someone could invent a printer that restocks the snacks automatically, we'd really be onto something.

We're Back — And Growing!

It's been a little quiet here at Artisan Layer Works lately, but that's because I've been busy doing what I enjoy most: designing, printing, and fulfilling orders.

Since my last post, demand for our 3D printed decoy wasp nests has been incredible. Between customer orders, family life, and a full-time career, the workshop has been running steadily behind the scenes.

To help keep up with demand and make room for future projects, I've recently added a second printer to the lineup: the Bambu Lab A2L.

With its larger build volume, I can now print six wasp nests on a single plate instead of four, increasing production capacity while maintaining the quality and reliability customers have come to expect.

This upgrade isn't just about making more products - it's about creating new opportunities. From motorcycle gear storage solutions and seasonal décor to custom projects and local-inspired designs, I'm excited to continue growing Artisan Layer Works one layer at a time.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this small business so far. Whether you've purchased a product, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, or simply followed along, I genuinely appreciate it.
