This is for families or women who are about to give birth and are finding it difficult to stay in Canada during this time—especially those living alone. If you're currently a Canadian citizen, you have the option to give birth outside of Canada, such as in the Philippines, where you may have more support during pregnancy, delivery, and while caring for your newborn. You can go home to the Philippines to give birth, and you can still pass your Canadian citizenship to your child.
