🎥 Arte enhances live production with Grass Valley’s NativeIP solutions

European broadcaster ARTE has upgraded to Grass Valley’s LDX 135 cameras and Creative Grading, moving to a fully native IP-based 1080p infrastructure with UHD capability.

In collaboration with Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE) the project modernized two ARTE studios with a SMPTE ST 2110 workflow, delivering seamless IP integration, improved efficiency, and greater creative flexibility.

NBC Sports Stamford, CT facility has completed a remarkable multi-year transition to a unified 1080p HDR workflow, streamlining operations and ensuring exceptional image quality across all productions.

At the core of this transformation is a Grass Valley IP ST 2110 routing infrastructure, first implemented in 2019 and designed to handle the full 1080p HDR signal chain. The system now supports 8,700 inputs, 17,400 outputs, and a flow capacity of 26,000 signals — a testament to Grass Valley’s scalability and reliability in large-scale broadcast environments.

NBC Sports also leverages the GV XIP-3900 platform to manage all SDR-to-HDR and HDR-to-SDR conversions for both incoming and outgoing signals, enabling seamless operations across every production format.
