This story is about a girl who started small, with the humble intention of helping others through following her passion. Back when she started there were no major communities in Bangladesh where women could share their opinions or promote their businesses through social media. Makeup and blogs/vlogs were not even a big thing in our society back then and were merely seen as a hobby. So Namrata Khan, a young enthusiastic student of architecture, decided to open a group named WOMEN CAN (formerly known as Hijabistaa | Fashionistaa), for women where they could freely share their opinions, promote their page, ask for suggestion or even share reviews about other business platforms without any problems. A lot of women got their business promoted through this group and are still benefiting from it. The group gradually became very well known and soon skyrocketed to a stunning 50000+ members over the course of a year. Not only did she create the group, she used her entrepreneurship skills and turned it into a brand working with other international brands around the clock and giving privileges such as discounts and give-away gifts to it’s group members.
Even though she was a student of architecture she had a burning passion for fashion and blogs and handled both platforms extremely well. She now owns a Clothing shop, Exclusia, in Jamuna Future Park where she showcases her designed outfits! Recently she started her blogging page & YouTube channel Glitz & Glitters by Namrata Khan where she posts her daily makeover and wardrobe details & promote many brands. She is a true example of a successful entrepreneur and proof that when you truly believe in something you can make it happen. She is an inspiration for many women in our country!
