Doing what I love doing.
This is the most important thing.
If the opportunity to do what you love does not come to you, create it.
Have passions, dreams, have projects and work to achieve them.
If you don't you are missing out.
It wont always be easy, life will test you to see how bad you want it.
But at the end if you don't do what you love doing, what makes you happy, what's the point?
This photo was taken at The Midnight Circus last august. A party that I organized myself, with help from a handfull of homies from , an artist collective I have put together to ultimately throw those kind of parties. I worked hard over several months of contacting people, writing on social media, creating marketing material, getting in touch with artist of all kinds. That same week, 4 days before the event to be exact, my dad passed away, 5000 km away from where I was at the moment. I thought about canceling, I did. Everyone would've understood I am sure. Although it is not easy to keep on moving forward with a project like this in those circumstances, I would have feel a lot worse giving up on everything ive worked on for months. What gave me the drive of going forward in that difficult time was to keep doing what I loved doing, what I am passionate about : Organizing events and DJing. Forever and ever, gathering people to dance will be what I want to do, and I really hope ill be able to keep doing it, better every time.
